June 30, 2012 --(Becket, MA) Jacob's Pillow presents Israeli contemporary troupe Vertigo Dance Company in the East Coast premiere of Noa Wertheim's Mana. With roots in the intensely physical style of movement popularized by the Batsheva Dance Company, the company excels in athletic and technically demanding yet conceptually sophisticated choreography. Mana features inventive set design and an original score by composer Ran Bagno, and will be in the Ted Shawn Theatre July 4-8.
