Jacob's Pillow Dance

June 27, 2011 - (Becket, MA) Expert, authentic tango dance and music arrives at Jacob's Pillow with Tangueros del Sur performing Artistic Director Natalia Hills' full length program Romper el Piso (Break the Floor) July 6-10. Live music, intricate foot work, and traditional and sensual partnering showcase the history and future of the tango. Hills, a Tony Award-winner for choreography for Broadway's Forever Tango, will dance with Alvaro Salas, known for his elegant walk and musicality. Alastair Macaulay of The New York Times has named Hills' stage presence "the sensuous and sensual delight of the tango at its truest."
