Jacob's Pillow Dance

July 25, 2012--(Becket, MA) Jacob's Pillow presents Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company in the new work Story/Time, created by acclaimed Tony Award-winner and legendary performer, Artistic Director Bill T. Jones. Inspired by composer John Cage's "Indeterminacy" (1958), Jones explores new choreographic territory in this dance theatre work in which he narrates onstage, as his revered company performs. Jones integrates text and spoken word with live music and choreography using chance procedure to create a unique work that The San Francisco Chronicle calls, "a dance theater rollercoaster with surprises around every corner." As part of its 30th anniversary tour through the U.S. and Europe, the company will perform Story/Time July 25-29 in the Ted Shawn Theatre.
