Marketing Department interns participate in key strategic work, preparation, and planning. Graphic design interns work closely with the Graphic Design Manager, Director of Marketing and Communication, and other marketing department staff and interns to produce printed and electronic materials to promote Festival performances and events, maintaining a high-quality and brand-consistent aesthetic in all materials.

Possible projects include:
  • Create graphic pieces and marketing materials for the Festival season, The School at Jacob's Pillow, and special events, as well as for general institutional needs
  • Design email marketing and fundraising graphics
  • Assist in updating and maintaining website
  • Cataloging and organizing the Pillow's extensive photography database
Requirements: working knowledge of Adobe Design Suites, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Understanding of Adobe Lightroom, content management systems a plus.

Candidates must submit a digital portfolio of recent design work applicable to this internship with their application. Candidates may also choose to submit a physical portfolio. Physical portfolios should measure no smaller than 8.5" x 11" and no larger than 11" x 17" and must include a CD consisting of digital versions of all provided work.
