Drummer/percussionist Dan Gross lives and works in the New York City area.
His Broadway and national touring credits include Grease, Blood Brothers, Les Miserables, Elaine Stritch: At Liberty, Rent, and Chicago The Musical. In addition to appearances and recordings with local New York cabaret and pop artists, recent concert work has included tours with songstress Petula Clark and performances with the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic. Gross has also published two instructional drum method books through Cherry Lane Music. As a songwriter and composer, he has written music for the Daydream's Reality Foundation and Music Outreach: Learning Through Music and has received multiple ASCAP Plus Awards and reviews in Billboard and American Songwriter magazines. Gross is also co-composer/lyricist/librettist for Southern Rain: A New Musical. Gross is a longtime member of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) and the American Society of Composers and Publishers (ASCAP).
