(Susan Stroman, director), Grease (Rosie O'Donnell revival), Blood Brothers (opposite Carole King), Starmites (original cast) and Senator Joe (Tom O'Horgan, director). Off-Broadway; A New Brain (Lincoln Center- Graciella Daniele, director), title role in The Jazz Singer (Jewish Rep), Chess (revival), Narrator in Gifts of the Magi (Lamb's). National tours; Al Weber's Starlight Express, Leader of the Pack (with Mary Wilson), The Fantasticks (with Tom Jones/Harvey Schmidt) and others. Ryder has played many of the nation's regional theatres. His solo gigs include New York City's Birdland, Laurie Beechman, Duplex, Mama's, and 54 Below. Voice-over/Recording; Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame, current release; Steve Marzullo's Show Some Beauty. Teacher; NYU's Tisch School, CAP21 Conservatory, Catholic University, and others. Currently, Ryder maintains two private voice studios, one in Manhattan and another in the Baltimore/Washington area. Education; Peabody Conservatory's Prep School alum, B.A. in Vocal Performance (University of Maryland, Baltimore County). He continued his study in New York City with Joan Lader, Allen Savage, Crag Carnelia, and graduate studies in Vocal Pedagogy through Rider University.
