Jacob's Pillow Dance

Anna-Marie Holmes, is an internationally acclaimed dance luminary. Her interpretations of the Russian classics have been staged in more than thirty countries on five continents. Le Corsaire, which she staged for American Ballet Theatre, appeared on PBS's Great Performances and won an Emmy award. Holmes is a recipient of the prestigious Dance Magazine Award for her extraordinary and lasting contribution to the art form. Formerly Artistic Director of the Boston Ballet, she is sought after by renowned companies and travels internationally to coach and teach. A Guest Artist at Jacob's Pillow in 1968 and 1969, this is Holmes' tenth season as Ballet Program Director.
