Jacob's Pillow alumnus Douglas Letheren also studied at St. Paul's School, the
Conservatoire de Rennes, and The Juilliard School where he received his BFA in 2007. Letheren worked with Aszure Barton, Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, and Mikhail Baryshnikov's Hell's Kitchen Dance. Joining the Batsheva Ensemble in 2007, he danced with the Batsheva Dance Company from 2008-2012, where he worked with Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, and Gai Behar. He is also a teacher and student of Gaga, Ohad Naharin's movement language. Letheren is now a founding member of Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar's new project, L-E-V, as well as its company manager. L-E-V recently premiered a new work in collaboration with the GoteborgsOperans Danskompani in Sweden, where Doug was rehearsal assistant, Gaga teacher, and performer. He is a recipient of the 2007 Movado Future Legends Award, nominated by Mikhail Baryshnikov.
