The Experience
Rick Hip-Flores has been the pianist in such Broadway orchestras as Billy
Elliot, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. As musical director and conductor he has worked on 'S Wonderful at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Singin' in the Rain at North Shore Music Theatre, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris at Zipper Theatre, Breaking Up is Hard to Do at Actors' Playhouse, 8 by Tenn at Hartford Stage, and Henry and Mudge and A Christmas Carol at TheatreworksUSA. As composer and lyricist, Hip-Flores has written songs for Neon Mirage at Humana Festival, A Tooth Fairy Tale and My New York at Vital Theater, Dido and Aeneas at Prospect Theater, Tartuffe and As You Like It at Worth Street Players, and the Varsity Show at Columbia University. Recently, he was Musical Director of DanceBreak in New York.
