Micah Young has studied music with the Bowdoin International Music Festival, Professional Musical Theatre Workshop, Interlochen Arts Academy, and Manhattan School of Music with Constance Keene and Maria Asteriadou. His credits on Broadway include playing for Mamma Mia, Spring Awakening, White Christmas, Mary Poppins and Chicago. Young has been the musical director for the Barn Theatre, Lincoln in Love (Goodspeed Opera House), Bye Bye Birdie (CAP 21),The Wild Party (Riverside Theatre), Fortune's Favorite with composer Seymour Barab, The Last Five Years (MSM), and The Casebook of Rudolf H- (New York Theatre Workshop). His original compositions consist of Mary Macabee: Nee Collins and The World Upstairs: A Song Cycle. Young has also performed at Caroline's Comedy Club, Metropolitan Room, and Joe's Pub in New York City.
