"seriously fun dancing" - Vancouver Sun
From British Columbia, one of today's top contemporary ballet companies brings a program of three diverse works bursting with intensity, theatricality, and fabulous skill. This gorgeous company performs A.U.R.A. (Anarchist Unit Related to Art), an uninhibited explosion of dance by Italian choreographer Jacopo Godani, and the elegant and witty Petite Cérémonie, set to music by Mozart, Puccini, and Vivaldi, created by Nederlands Dans Theater's Medhi Walerski. Artistic Director Emily Molnar's dance Aniel closes the show on a playful note, set to a delightfully eccentric score recorded by the Cracow Klezmer Band and saxophonist John Zorn's Masada String Trio.
