"engaging and provocative"  - The Boston Globe

Trey McInytre's dances overflow with fresh intelligence, unabashed physicality, and irresistible spirit. His unique dance language blends the grace and tension of classical ballet with unorthodox twists and turns and keen musicality. This jubilant program includes the East Coast premiere of The Vinegar Works: Four Dances of Moral Instruction, inspired by the surreal imagination and characteristic pen-and-ink drawings of writer and illustrator Edward Gorey, set to Dmitri Shostakovich's "Piano Trio No. 2 in E minor" and performed by Trio Solaris of Chicago.

Plus the ballet Mercury Half-Life, set entirely to the music of the legendary rock band Queen, featuring beloved ballads like "We are the Champions", lesser-known discoveries such as "Love of My Life"--and even a tap dancer.

Trey McIntyre Project recently announced that it will end its full-time dance company to embark on new artistic projects. This Pillow engagement will mark the company's final farewell performances. Read the full press release here.
