Roles for Amanda McKerrow
Amanda
McKerrow first appeared at the Pillow as a Washington Ballet apprentice
in 1980, prior to a glittering career as one of American Ballet
Theatre's most lyrical principal dancers. Now retired from performing,
she returns here to teach and reflect on her lifetime of experiences.

Chamber Ballet
The
dancers of New Chamber Ballet have performed with a myriad of celebrated
companies including New York City Ballet and Dance Theatre of Harlem.
Artistic Director Miro Magloire's compositions have been presented
at music festivals across Europe and broadcast on national German
radio, and his sophisticated musicality is evident in his original
works.

Dancewave's
Kids Company
Founded
in 1985 to give young people in New York City the opportunity to
experience a world-class level of performing arts study, Dancewave
presents its Kids Company, comprised of young dancers ages 12 –
18. The company will perform excerpts from Paul Taylor's Esplanade
and Garth Fagan's From Before.

ballet luminary Anna-Marie Holmes and Amanda McKerrow, former principal
with American Ballet Theatre, present dancers of The School in classical
ballet variations and a new work created by Stephen Mills, artistic

Garth
Fagan on Film
When
Garth Fagan decided to film his classic work Oatka Trail,
he chose to use the unique resources of the Ted Shawn Theatre with
its back of the stage double barn doors open to the great outdoors.
Along with filmmaker Carvin Eison, Fagan shows and discusses this
exquisitely beautiful dance film.
