Student
Sponsorship
Each year, outstanding dancers are unable to participate in
the School at Jacob’s Pillow due to their limited finances.
These students need your support.
Jacob’s Pillow is committed to serving a diverse, international
student body, regardless of the financial capacity of its students.
The support of our loyal Student Sponsors enables us to admit
exceptionally talented dancers from many backgrounds, while
maintaining The School’s fine curriculum and unique facilities.
A gift of $5,000 will fully sponsor a student in the School,
plus afford you many donor privileges at the Pillow (See
The Ted Shawn Circle). By sponsoring a student,
you help ensure a broad and deep curriculum that fully engages
young artists in every aspect of dance at the Festival.
The School Endowment
Make a long term commitment to The School and secure the future
of this extraordinary program. Jacob’s Pillow recently became
a National Historic Landmark, becoming the first dance institution
ever to receive that honor. Now is the time to establish a permanent
endowment to ensure sustained artistic achievement and to keep
the excellence of the School affordable for young dancers in
years to come.
Even after exceptional ticket sales, donor contributions such
as Student Sponsorships, and tuition income, The School at Jacob’s
Pillow must have the reliable income of a permanent endowment
to sustain it. To have this income a larger endowment is essential.
Ensuring the future of The School at Jacob’s Pillow is of paramount
importance to dancers, audiences, and the entire arts community.
By making an endowment pledge, whether in the form of a bequest
or a direct gift, you can help secure The School at Jacob’s
Pillow for years to come.
