Jacob's Pillow Dance

For decades, Inside/Out has been a treasured cultural experience for Pillow visitors from all over the world to right down the road. An incomparable outdoor stage overlooking the beautiful Berkshire hills, Inside/Out is where people of all ages gather with family and friends to spend idyllic summer evenings watching amazing dance performances absolutely free.

But to meet today's building standards, we must rebuild the Inside/Out Stage. To save Inside/Out, we must raise $100,000 by September.

We are thankful for the hundreds of people who have already given generously.  As you can see from our thermometer, we're getting very close to reaching our goal - but time is also running out.  If you haven't made your donation yet, there's not a moment to lose!  You can help put us over the top.

Along with meeting new building standards, other planned improvements will enhance both artists' and audiences' experience while maintaining Inside/Out's current simplicity, charm, and beauty:

• Anchor the foundation with steel pylons drilled into bedrock
• Enlarge the performance platform
• Improve stage entrances and exits
• Enlarge the musicians' platform for live music
• Provide proper dressing rooms
• Re-grade the audience area for better sightlines

These improvements will make the Inside/Out experience even better for audiences to enjoy free performances for many, many years to come.
