For: 25 professional and advanced
dancers, age 16 and up, with strong
performance facility

Today's leading choreographers and
companies seek dancers with the versatility
to perform a range of work. This program
invites stylistically diverse artistic directors
and choreographers Helen Pickett, Tim
Rushton, and Edgar Zendejas to teach
repertory and increase dancers' ability to
communicate choreographic intent.

Ballet, modern, and in-depth body
conditioning will be offered during morning
sessions. Afternoon repertory rehearsals will
increase participants' capacity to perform
work of contrasting styles and prepare them
to succeed and sustain themselves as dance
artists. Each week culminates with free,
informal presentations for Pillow audiences
July 12, 19, and 26classes, are an integral part of the curriculum.

Attendance at Festival events, including
performances, talks, exhibits, and master
classes, will be an integral part of the program.
