Community Workshop: The New Orleans Original BuckShop Gathering with Michelle N. Gibson and NOJO 7

Community members joined choreographer Michelle N. Gibson in an energetic, immersive workshop exploring the Second Line Aesthetic and Diasporic movement traditions. Accompanied by live music, experience what defines movement, interpretation, communal ritual, and the traditions of New Orleans. All ages and experience levels were welcome.


What To Expect

  • Upon arrival, check-in to confirm registration and present vaccination status. 
  • Expect to move together, with music, socially distanced, and wearing masks. 
  • Extra masks, hand sanitizer, and first aid kits will be available. 
  • Location: Common Room (Zion Lutheran Church, 74 First Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
  • Public parking: Directly across the street at First Street Parking Lot
