WALKIN’ WITH WORDXWORD AT THE MOUNT
Jul 29 & Aug 26, 2018 at 3pm
Jacob’s Pillow is proud to partner with Lift Ev’ry Voice, WordXWord, and The Mount in two events this summer in which local and regional poets, dancers, musicians, and other performing artists are invited to animate the spaces around the SculptureNow exhibition through their creative responses to selected works.
These performances will build on last year’s Walkin’ with Lift Ev’ry Voice presented in collaboration with WordXWord and The Mount which showcased the work of six poets and six dancers in response to selected sculptures in the exhibition. Last year’s program was a glorious opportunity to share work with fellow artists and audiences in the spirit of community within the embrace of nature.
