Deborah Wingert is Head Faculty at Manhattan Youth Ballet and on faculty at The Juilliard School. She is one of a small group of artists selected by The George Balanchine Trust to set his choreography, and has traveled throughout the United States setting and staging the Balanchine repertoire at Harvard University, Indiana University, Princeton University, and Butler University, amongst others. In addition, she has also worked with New York City Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem and The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre. She has been a guest teacher for Abraham In Motion, Alvin Ailey, Joffrey Academy, and Sarasota Ballet.
