Kyle Pleasant is the resident choreographer at Rosie’s Theater Kids, Rosie O’Donnell’s school for the arts. He is on faculty at Marymount Manhattan College and The Professional Performing Arts School. Pleasant holds a BFA in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory. He has performed, choreographed, and taught across the United States. His directorial and choreographic work includes 13 The Musical, Cabaret, Chicago, Fame, Hello, Dolly!, Ragtime, and Urinetown: The Musical. Pleasant has set choreography for The Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, Broadway South Africa, the Career Transitions for Dancers Gala, and the Only Make Believe Organization. He received the NYT Award for Direction, Choreography and Best Musical for his productions of Chicago and Hello, Dolly!. His work has been seen at New York City Center and on the OWN Network. In 2016, Kyle’s work with Rosie’s Theater Kids was performed at The White House for First Lady Michele Obama.
