Marketing / Digital Media Interns report to the Digital Marketing Manager and also works closely with the Director of Marketing and the Digital Marketing Coordinator to enhance the Pillow’s vibrant digital media presence.

Digital media and marketing responsibilities include assisting with email campaign copywriting, layout, and review routing; research and content creation for the Pillow’s social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube; assisting with calendar updates, generating engaging blog content, and creating new program and event pages on the Pillow website; general digital marketing strategy and implementation; and work on national campaigns. In addition to the Festival, Marketing / Digital Media Interns work cross-departmentally to create email, website, and social media strategy to promote specific programs and events, including those of the Archives, The School, Community Engagement, and Philanthropy departments. As part of the Marketing team, Marketing / Digital Media Interns may also help to manage certain aspects of in-person patron relations on the Jacob’s Pillow campus, as well as assist with on-site print and digital signage; assist with marketing research, community outreach and events, off-site marketing events, and group visit logistics; and give public tours.

Candidates should have a strong interest in digital marketing efforts through email, web, and social media channels. Applicants must be detail-oriented, organized, effective time managers, and possess marketing instincts.
