Idan Porges is currently the Director of Batsheva - The Young Ensemble in Tel-Aviv. Porges was born in Kiryat Bialik in 1983 and graduated from Teatron Haguf School & Stage for Physical Theatre in 2005. From 2005-2007, he was a dancer in the Batsheva Ensemble, and from 2007-2008, he danced in the international cast of Ohad Naharin’s Kamuyot as part of a project of the Riksteatern.Learn More
Michal Sayfan was appointed Rehearsal Director of Batsheva - The Young Ensemble in 2016. Born in Israel, Sayfan danced in Nadine Bommer Dance Company between 2001-2004 before joining Batsheva’s Ensemble in 2005. She danced with Batsheva Dance Company from 2008-2011 and has been a freelance dancer ever since. Sayfan has been teaching Gaga and Ohad Naharin’s works in Israel and around the world since 2006. In 2011, she was appointed Artistic Director of Gaga Intensive Courses in Tel Aviv. During Sayfan’s Naturopathy studies at Campus Broshim - Tel Aviv University for practitioners of Integrative Medicine, she became Clinical Herbalist & Reflexologist.Learn More
