Subscription and Single Ticket Information
Subscribers who purchase 5 or more shows in one order receive 10% off tickets. The Subscription allows you to choose 5 or more companies, any day, any theatre, any time and receive the discount. Subscribers can purchase tickets before the general public and receive free exchanges up to 48 hours prior to the show. Subscriptions must be purchased in person or over the phone.
Single tickets can be purchased online, over the phone, or in person during box office hours. Individual tickets range from $25-$78 depending on the show and seat location. We offer the following discounts for our performances:
- Subscribers (purchasing additional tickets)- 10% off
- Seniors (65+)- 5% off
- Child (17 and under)- 10% off
- Military- 10% off
- Under 35 (18-35, for select performances)- $35/$20
- Youth (17 and under, for select performances)- $10
- Group Tickets (Groups of 20 or more)- at least 10% off
A limited number of special Under 35 tickets are available for every performance for patrons ages 18-35. Tickets are $35 in the Ted Shawn Theatre and $20 in the Doris Duke Theatre and available online, in person, or by calling the box office. One ticket per ID. Each guest must show valid I.D. when picking up tickets at Will Call. Under 35 is sponsored, in part, by Blue Q. Available starting April 3.
$10 Youth Tickets are offered for designated performances that may be more accessible to the whole family. 1 youth ticket per 1 adult ticket purchased, children must be accompanied by an adult. Available starting April 3.
Groups who order a block of 20 or more tickets to a single performance receive personal planning services, a free private tour, and at least 10% off tickets. Click here or contact [email protected] for more group experience information.
Child, Senior, Under 35, and Military discounts are available online; all other discounts ($10 Youth, and 10% Subscriber) are only available over the phone. Please call the Box Office at 413.243.0745 to purchase discounted tickets. Discounts are based on availability and must be requested at the time of sale; they cannot be combined or issued retroactively.
There is a $9 service charge per order via mail, fax, phone and internet. There is no service charge for walk-up purchases at the Box Office. $1.50 from each ticket sold goes to support the Pillow’s National Historic Landmark grounds and buildings.
No Refunds. Programs, casting, and pricing subject to change without notice. Exchanges are available for a small fee and are based on availability. We cannot guarantee comparable seating. Patron must return physical tickets or evidence of destroyed tickets by mail, fax, or in person during Box Office hours. If you are unable to attend, please consider converting your Festival tickets into a tax-deductible donation. Ticket donations are appreciated and support the non-profit programs of Jacob’s Pillow. Tax-deductible receipts are issued. Ticket re-sale on Jacob’s Pillow grounds is prohibited.
Infants held in front body slings do not need a ticket. Children must be accompanied by an adult; please help them to be considerate of other patrons. Although a child discount is offered for all performances, parents may not find each and every program to be equally appropriate for their children. If you have any questions about the content of any particular program, please contact the Box Office.
In the event of a sold out performance, a standby list will open 1 hour before show time. Patrons must sign up in person at the Box Office. There is a 4 ticket limit per patron. The Box Office will begin filling standby list ticket requests 30 minutes prior to show time if tickets are available. All standby list tickets are full price. Discounts and coupons are not valid.
Both theaters are wheelchair accessible: please call in advance if you require special seating. Transportation between the parking lots and theaters is available before and after performances. Transcripts are available of selected talks.

Jacob’s Pillow Dance strives to foster a strong relationship with the community in many ways, one of which is contributing to non-profit charitable organizations through our ticket donations program. We look to help organizations across Berkshire County and the surrounding areas that benefit and impact arts education and diversity. The Doris Duke Theatre is occasionally cooled with air-conditioning; the Ted Shawn Theatre is occasionally cooled with fans only.
No food or drink is allowed in the theatre.
Late seating is at the discretion of the House Manager. Performances start promptly at their assigned times. Check tickets carefully for curtain times. Seat assignments cannot be guaranteed past curtain.
No audio or video equipment is permitted in the theatres during performances.
Some seating may be partially obstructed due to staging, lighting, special effects, musical accompaniment or other adjustments to the theatre and/or the work being presented. In most cases, the Box Office will be made aware and this information will be presented to the patron prior to sale.
Only official service dogs are permitted in the theatres. All dogs must be leashed on the Pillow grounds at all times.
