Musical Theatre Musician/Pianist, The School at Jacob's Pillow
Guilherme Andreas is a Brazilian-American music director, orchestrator, flutist, and educator based in New York City. His music direction credits include Once on This Island (Harlem School of the Arts), OLIVIA O: The Musical (Spark Theatre Festival), Coming Out: The Musical (Incubator Festival), Mamma Mia!, The Lion King Jr., and Somewhere Over the Border (People’s Light). Andreas also served as Assistant Music Director, Pianist, and Copyist for Americano! The Musical.
An arranger and orchestrator, Andreas contributed to The Broadway Sitzprobe Experience: Dreamgirls and was selected for the Broadway Musician Equity Partnership, collaborating with Broadway music professionals. A classically trained flutist, he holds degrees from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, James Madison University, and the Brazilian Conservatory of Music. Andreas’ debut album Beyond Bossa Nova is streaming on all platforms, and he is also currently producing his second album, Accent: Flute Works Reimagined. Andreas is a voting member of both the Recording Academy and the Latin Recording Academy. This summer, Andreas is incredibly excited to join Jacob’s Pillow as a musician for the Musical Theatre Program.
