Eligibility

Open to all faculty at College Partner Program Institutions or Individual College Partner Members. Become an Institutional or Individual College Partner here.

Application Deadline & Materials

Application consists of four parts: (1) application form, (2) project proposal, (3) abbreviated CV, and (4) one professional letter of recommendation. The project proposal should include a general description or abstract of the research project. Successful applications will highlight specific materials of interest in the Jacob’s Pillow Archives—searchable through archives.jacobspillow.org—and describe how those archival materials will connect to and support the research project.

Jacob’s Pillow particularly welcomes applications from faculty within underrepresented groups in academia and the dance field—including women, BIPOC scholars (Black, Indigenous, and people of color), first generation scholars, transgender individuals, and persons with disabilities—and projects that contribute to discourse around contemporary social, political, and cultural issues.
