Sorzano's pieces are composed of multifaceted contemporary movement and theatricality that are bathed in eclectic and evocative scores and set design. Their long-term goal is to offer audiences a more dynamic, communal experience of concert dance.
About Sorzano Dance Works
Sorzano Dance Works is the artistic home of choreographer Yusha-Marie Sorzano. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Sorzano is a dynamic dancer, choreographer, and educator. As a YoungArts alum and graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, she performed principal roles with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and toured nationally and internationally with companies such as Complexions Contemporary Ballet, BODYTRAFFIC, and Camille A. Brown & Dancers. She has performed the works of choreographers including Dianne McIntyre, Kyle Abraham, Jermaine Spivey, and Spenser Theberge. Sorzano is the choreographer of A Ballet Through Mud, a collaboration of music and dance by Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA.

OUTDOOR PERFORMANCE TICKET OPTIONS
To give audiences flexibility, outdoor performances are offered with two ticket options. Rain or Shine tickets include guaranteed indoor access if weather impacts the performance, while Shine Only tickets are valid for outdoor performances only. Rain or Shine tickets are limited in number and may sell out.
