Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell is one of the newest generation of artistic directors at major American dance companies, and this year celebrates her fifth year as the first alumna, woman, and person of color to lead Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, performing this week in the Ted Shawn Theatre.
