Workshop with Gerald Casel
Join Gerald Casel, the Carole and Dan Burack Director of The School at Jacob's Pillow, for an experiential laboratory exploring strategies for bodies to expand their range and ease of motion, revealing their truest movement potential. Rooted in somatic practice, this class will address anatomical principles that are essential to any movement practice: embodied imagery, dynamic alignment, balance, connectivity, rhythmic acuity, and spatial clarity. Come as you are, let go of preconceived notions, and modify movement according to your body’s needs. Live music by Tim Russell. Wear comfortable clothing; kneepads and barefeet recommended.

$25/class or $20/class for dance educators with I.D.
