PillowTalk: Akram Khan Dance Company
Inspired by his early training in the Indian classical dance form kathak, Akram Khan developed a hybrid movement language when that training encountered contemporary dance in his teens. That vision led to the establishment of one of the world’s most innovative dance companies. This PillowTalk celebrates the company’s legacy on its last U.S. tour, including their performance of Thikra: Night of Remembering at the Pillow this week.
