Anna-Marie Holmes and a distinguished international faculty prepare dancers
for the artistic breadth and technical rigor required by today's leading ballet companies.

Choreographer/director Michael Corder kicks off the program, creating a new work on the dancers, who perform its world premiere at the Festival's Opening Gala on June 16. Dancers also receive in-depth coaching in renowned classical solo, pas de deux, and ensemble works, which they perform June 23 as part of the free outdoor performance series.

Separate men's and women's classes, career development discussions, and seminars in musicality, style characteristics, and history occur weekly. Attending Festival performances, talks, exhibits, master classes, and studying in the Archives are integral to this immersion experience in dance.

Alumni of The School at Jacob's Pillow have become members of Atlanta Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, Het Nationale Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, Royal Danish Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet.

For 11 men and 11 women, advanced pre-professional and professional ballet dancers with strong performance skills, age 16 and up. Click here for faculty bios. For audition and application details, click here.
