Inspired by the Depression-era Works Progress Administration (WPA), Artists at Work is a program created in 2020 supporting artists and fostering healthy community during the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Artists at Work (AAW) pairs artists with organizations, supporting artists in creating new work while addressing community needs.

Jacob’s Pillow collaborates with the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) and becomes a satellite of the nationally renowned dance teacher education program. Founded by Jody Gottfried Arnhold and designed to serve as a practical alternative to traditional university dance education programs, DEL addresses the needs of professional dancers, dance teachers, classroom teachers, and dance students.
