Under the direction of Milton Myers, studio and performance experiences prepare dancers to meet the expectations and requirements of today's most in-demand artistic directors. Three renowned and stylistically diverse choreographers create work or set excerpts of signature repertoire on dancers, which they present to the public July 12, 19, and 26 as part of the free outdoor performance series

Dancers are also coached in multiple movement vocabularies, styles, techniques, and performance skills to deepen their ability to communicate choreographic intent and advance their development as articulate, versatile artists. Mark Morris himself leads music seminars to augment dancers' ability to convey the driving force of his acclaimed 1993 work, Grand Duo. Career discussions and daily classes in ballet, body conditioning, and contemporary dance are led by distinguished master faculty.

Attending Festival performances, public talks, exhibits, master classes, and studying in the Archives are integral to this immersion experience in dance.

For 12 male and 12 female contemporary dancers at advanced pre-professional and professional level with strong performance skills, age 16 and up. Click here for Milton Myers' bio. For audition and application details, click here.
