Jessica Walker is a passionate performer, teacher and choreographer. She earned her BFA at Fordham University/The Ailey School and began her career in the Broadway company of Twyla Tharp’s Movin Out. Jessica’s strong technical foundation and versatile style has enabled her multifaceted career on Broadway, film and television, commercials, national tours, and more. Performance highlights include Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Cirque du Soleil’s Paramour, Radio City’s Christmas and Spring Spectaculars, Carnegie Hall’s West Side Story, The Metropolitan Opera, SMASH, ABC’s Dirty Dancing, Isn’t It Romantic, The Tony Awards, and more. 

Jessica is an Associate Choreographer for the Tony Award winning show, SIX The Musical and David O. Russell’s latest film, Amsterdam starring Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington. She made her Off Broadway choreographic debut at Theater Row with the musical The Magnificent Seven. Jessica also co-choreographed Mamma Mia with Mary Ann Lamb, directed by Terrence Mann at Connecticut Repertory Theatre and choreographed Migguel Anggelo’s sold out show at Joe’s Pub in NYC. 

Jessica is known for her passionate, full out performance quality and she brings that same level of energy and dedication to those she teaches. As an educator, Jessica has taught at USC, Loyola Marymount, UNCSA, Western Oregon University, Indiana University, The Joffrey Ballet School, Millennium Dance Complex, Steps on Broadway, Equinox, Showstopper National Dance Conventions, and Dance Educators of America. Jessica creates a nurturing and supportive environment in which classes emphasize the importance of technique, musicality, and artistry. Jessica encourages dancers of all levels to reach their maximum potential.
