Norton Owen, Director of Preservation
Norton Owen has been associated with the Pillow since 1976. He oversees all programs concerning dance documentation, exhibitions, and archival resources, while also coordinating PillowTalks, pre- and post-show lectures and film programs. He was the longtime director of the Limón Institute, chair of the Dance Heritage Coalition, and resident curator of the National Museum of Dance, while he is currently President of the O’Donnell-Green Music and Dance Foundation. As curator of the award-winning online site known as Jacob’s Pillow Dance Interactive, Norton seeks to make the Pillow’s archival holdings widely available.
