Zorelly Cepeda Derieux, Community Engagement Manager

Zorelly Cepeda Derieux has worked at the Pillow since January 2018. Zorelly’s job consists of coordinating and executing logistics for community programming and maintaining department systems, all in support of facilitating accessible connections for Berkshire County communities to experience movement and dance. Zorelly also acts as the co-chair of Jacob’s Pillow I.D.E.A. (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) Task Force along with Associate Archivist Patsy Gay. Zorelly’s past experience includes professional training in ballet, musical theatre, and hip-hop, dance education for ages 5 and up, and working as part of the Education Department at MASS MoCA. Zorelly’s favorite things are reading, singing, dancing, spending time with her niece, meatloaf (the food), Nicolas Cage movies, Piña Coladas, anything Puerto Rico-related (her home!), and being silly with her partner.
