Summer Festival Intern Program

Be a member of the team executing one of the world's most prestigious dance festivals, and receive on-the-job training and experience working with the Festival's professional program, administration, documentation, and production staff. Summer Festival internships are part of a structured program for more than 30 interns from around the world.

Fall/Winter/Spring Intern Program

Join us in September-May to assist with the Pillow's year-round programming and preparations for our acclaimed international dance festival. Fall/Winter/Spring internships introduce the work it takes to program and market a successful Festival, develop and execute strategic fundraising campaigns, manage donor relationships, and more.

Life at the Pillow

Summer Festival Interns spend six days a week learning about the operations of Jacob’s Pillow and running the Festival. Fall/Winter/Spring Interns get a behind the scenes look at our year-round work in roles tailored to their interests and availability. All interns form lasting relationships with their fellow interns and Pillow staff, and make professional connections in the larger arts world.
