Bruce Wells

Bruce Wells is an internationally known choreographer, who began his dance career with the New York City Ballet under the direction of George Balanchine. His ballets appear in the repertoire of Ballet Omaha, Carolina Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, The Atlanta Ballet, The Australian Ballet, The Boston Ballet, The Connecticut Ballet, The Dance Theatre of Harlem, The Grand Rapids Ballet, The Kansas City Ballet, The Pacific Northwest Ballet, among others. Wells has taught on the faculties of The Boston Ballet, and The Pacific Northwest Ballet. In 1988, he was a faculty member of The School at Jacob’s Pillow for the Teachers Workshop, and in 1989 for International Ballet Project. His works have also appeared on the stages of Jacob’s Pillow Dance.
