Christopher Duggan is an esteemed dance photographer in Manhattan and runs a New York/Berkshire based wedding photography and cinematography studio. His photographs have publicized world premieres, season marketing brochures, billboards, and have appeared on the cover of Dance Teacher Magazine, Dance Magazine, The New York Times, and other esteemed publications and popular wedding blogs. Duggan’s collaborations span a wide range of spectacular and talented artists, including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Joffrey Ballet, Limón Dance Company, Wendy Whelan, and his photograph of Bruce Springsteen is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In addition to photography, Duggan films dance performances, auditions, promotional videos, and interviews as part of his wife’s dance video company, Nel Shelby Productions. Duggan has been the Festival Photographer for Jacob’s Pillow since 2006 and his images from Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival’s Inside/Out were selected by the National Museum of Dance for a year-long photographic exhibition.
