Voltaire Wade-Greene is a California native and began his dance training at Civic Dance Center in Bakersfield, California, before relocating to New York City. Throughout his junior and senior year of high school, Voltaire attended the Rock School For Dance Education’s year round program and has received additional training at institutions including the Orange School of Performing Arts, San Francisco Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem, and University of The Arts. Voltaire’s Broadway credits include Hamilton, In The Heights, Only Gold, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Wiz, and Hairspray. Voltaire was the Resident Choreographer for the first national tour of Hamilton and the Supervisor for Hamilton (Chicago). Voltaire’s TV credits include Smash and The Spot, in addition to his opera credits such as Fire Shut Up In My Bones, Champion, and The Magic Flute. Voltaire’s concert dance credits include Contrast Dance Theater, Charlottesville Ballet, and Alison Chase/Performance. He is the Producer of the R&B/Jazz duo, Saffron Lips.
