For the fourth consecutive year, American College Dance Association (ACDA) presents highlights from its regional conferences, supporting and promoting the wealth of talent and creativity from college and university dance departments. This year we’re excited to welcome dancers from Slippery Rock University, Arizona State University, Florida Southern College, El Camino College, Loyola Marymount University, and San Jose State University to perform in this one-night-only performance on Inside/Out.
Each spring, regional conferences are hosted around the country with performances, workshops, panels, and master classes. At each conference, a panel of expert adjudicators select works in an anonymous process to be performed at a gala performance which concludes the conference. The dances are choreographed by undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and guest artists. Selected works from each region are identified by regional adjudicators before highlights are selected for the Inside/Out stage.
Food and drink are welcome in the performance space.

Caleb Teicher & Company reinvents traditional American dance forms for contemporary contexts. The company’s Inside/Out performance features Meet Ella, a male swing dance duet set to classic live recordings of Ella Fitzgerald. A 2011 Bessie Award Winner for Outstanding Individual Performance, one of Dance Magazine’s 2012 “25 to Watch,” and winner of “Best Emerging Choreographer” for Dance Magazine’s 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards, Teicher draws from his experience in concert dance, musical theater, and social dance. He has garnered acclaim for his work as a versatile performer, most notably as a member of Dorrance Dance and The Chase Brock Experience. Founded in 2012, his company explores a wide range of styles including tap dance, lindy hop, and vernacular jazz, creating works that celebrate a uniquely American physicality.
